2012′ What’s the Fuss All About

Changing weather patterns, increased violence in our cities, violent storms, disasters of all types are demonstrating that we are living in a time of unrest, shifting and uncomfortable changes. Those of us who have studied the various works on the Mayan calendar and consider that the date when that calendar ends as December 21st, 2012, are living with the belief that all the witnessed and felt changes are signs of healing taking place deeply within both our the physical bodies and psyches as humans as well as deeply with our planet. Where are these changes taking us, and how can we learn to be the change we have been waiting for. We are becoming Universal Humans. We are experiencing dramatic changes at the most basic level of what it means to be a human being. We are beginning to truly experience our vast powers.
In the meantime, as the weather changes, violence escalates, gas and food prices increase we are painfully aware of the strife in countries as the extreme weather destroys enormous parts of many countries, destruction and death we can become full of apprehension and anxiety at the whole idea of what the future holds. We are being encouraged to conserve, to respect, go back to basics. What effect could this possibly have on the state of the world as we know it? Possibly, and probably, the weather changes, and the planetary changes we are witnessing, are in effect the planet being cleansed from the abuses of human consumption.
This workshop ‘2012’ What’s All the Fuss About? is designed to help us to understand how we are being gently nudged forward and how we can find ways to recognize what is happening and our role within this framework. This workshop provides an opportunity to review the works of various authors who address this topic from many different perspectives.
During the four weeks we will spend together we will have opportunities to share ideas, fears, and to explore ways of working with the material to discover our role here at this time and how we can each take responsibility with confidence and assuredness that we are in the right the place at the right time with the unique set of skill to be the change we want there to be. Working together as a group or several small groups we will generate ideas, develop plans, and execute those plans in whatever area seems appropriate within the context of the workshop and the group of which you are part.
